(General tissue components: small arteries and veins, arterioles and venules, capillaries, lymphatic vessels, connective tissue, granulation tissue, granulomas . Cell types and features and Noncellular features: fibrin, exudates (fibrinous, purulent, serous), fibrosis or scarring . • In what way has the tissue changed in morphology? • How much of the tissue is involved? • Is this an example of an acute or a chronic inflammatory response? Describe the supporting evidence for your decision. • Based on your understanding of inflammatory responses in tissue, does what you see in the slides meet your expectations?
