Objective: This project aims to identify key barriers why female Human Resources managers with equal or
higher educational credentials than male HR managers and often women continue to get paid lower wages
than males.
According to The Bureau of Labor Statistics released an annual report every year on the “Highlights of
Women’s Earnings in 2017” Male HR Managers earn 40% more than their female peers. The uncontrolled
gender gap pays still in effect. One of the main reasons why women fail to negotiate their salary during a
salary negotiation is because women tend to hesitate and do not advocate for themselves.
