The aim of the study is investigating the effect of attachment styles on anxiety and social support. Studies have shown that individual differs in how they get attached to someone. Attachment anxiety is the absence of attachment figures in times of need. The absence of attachment figure can result in insecure attachment, developing anxious behaviour (Mikulincer and Shaver; 2007). Conversely, secure attachment occurs when the attachment figure is always available to meet their needs and in times of distress. It has been observed that anxious individuals tend to have more conflict in their relationships, as a result develop stress (Campbell, Marshall; 2011). Whereas, attachment avoidance is when an individual tries to avoid closeness with others. The person becomes distant from the attachment figure. Recent research has shown that anxious individual have greater cortisol reactivity and slower cortisol recovery (Meuwly et al; 2012). Collins, 2004 have shown that anxiously attached individuals have low social support. Social support has been associated to positive health outcomes (Stadler et al 2012). It has also been found that people who perceive greater social support tend to have lower mortality rates from disease (Hibbard, Pope 1993). Nevertheless, there’s little research conducted on how social support can affect an individual’s attachment with others. However the mechanisms underling these processes are unknown. Therefore, it has been hypothesised that that individuals with secure attachment perceive more social support whereas, insecure anxious attachment individuals are linked to low social support as result develop psychological and physical symptoms. Course Description The sensory sciences are central to research as well as studies in product development or modification, quality control and quality assurance. The effect of foods on our senses is neither simple nor totally understood. The complexity of the stimulus of a food product on any one of our senses is affected by a vast number of factors, including: nature and presentation of the specific food matrix, the age, gender, background, sensory sensitivity of the consumer, even the conditions under which the test is carried out. Despite these limitations, the area of sensory evaluation is used to establish the credibility of a potential new product or the effectiveness of a modification to a new product. This course will develop students’ understanding and application of sensory evaluation. This is undertaken through an examination of the practical and theoretical aspects of sensory evaluation and analysis. In this course, students deal with practical real world sensory related problems in a team approach. Assignment guideline: Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Behaviour Literature Review Assignment Semester 2 2017 “Originally only four basic tastes were recognized (sweet, sour, salt and bitter). Review how and why umami was recognized as the fifth taste. Currently some workers believe that fat is also a basic taste. Review the current state of the research and considering the adoption of umami identify what needs to be demonstrated if fat is to be accepted as a basic taste.” Postgraduate students (ONPS2526) 1) Write a maximum of 3,000 words (excluding references) literature review on the above topic. 2) You must also nominate a peer reviewed journal as your intended submission place for your literature review, and follow their author requirements. As an appendix include the author requirements (not included in the word count). Where there are any conflicts with the guidelines given above, the author requirements of the journal will take precedence. Marking Criteria The criteria for assessment in addition to technical content and relevance will be correct clarity of expression, overall structure of the essay and citation of references. The distribution of marks will be: • Technical content and relevance 40 marks • Quality of references 20 marks • Citation of references 20 marks • Layout, clarity of expression, English grammar 20 marks
Using the same scenario from Assignment 1,Parts 1 & 2 present the following findings to your Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company. Create a presentation in a common format (PowerPoint or a similar program) with a minimum of twenty (15) fifteen slides and corresponding speaker notes in the “click to add notes” section at bottom of each slide in which you: Determine which statistical technique you will employ to measure the quality characteristics of your organization. Provide examples to support the rationale. Analyze the current facility location, and then use the threestep procedure to determine a new location. Analyze the key concepts related to capacity planning and facility location for the new location. Examine the current work system design, and determine your organization’s selected feasibility in the job design (i.e., technical, economic, behavioral). Assess key elements of the rationale in the work design competitive advantage. Using the method analysis described in the textbook, defend the new change implementation process and the rationale for the change of method. Develop a diagram showing network planning techniques, in which you use the program evaluation and review technique (PERT) and the critical path method (CPM). Use at least six (6) quality academic resources in this assignment. Quality academic resources are reputable journals, articles, books, and magazine that are dated within the last five years. Websites that are reputable in a few instances. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not quality as academic resources. Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements: Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with oneinch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or schoolspecific format. Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length. Include corresponding speaker notes for each slide included in the presentation. The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are: Apply descriptive statistics to measure quality characteristics. Analyze the key concepts related to capacity planning and facility location. Examine the key elements of work system design, the project life cycle, and project management. Use technology and information resources to research issues in operations management. Write clearly and concisely about operations management using proper writing mechanics.

When you respond to others, please respond to at least one student who answered a different question than you did. A. Discuss some developments in science and the visual arts that paralleled the rise of the new music of the 20th Century. Describe the attitudes towards tonality (having a strong tonal center) and the use of dissonance in 20th century music. What new rhythmic techniques were used in contrast to the classical and romantic eras? In what ways do these musical techniques parallel artistic techniques used during the same period? B. Select one musical work and one work of visual art (painting, sculpture, drawing, architecture, mosaic, etc.) and discuss the similarities in treatment of the elements of music and visual arts. Focus on one musical and visual art style from the 20th century (impressionism, symbolism, expressionism, neoclassicism, serialism, realism, nationalism, primitivism, exoticism, jazz, minimalism, aleatoric, electronic). Discuss how the work of art and the musical piece demonstrate the musical style you have chosen. If possible, include a link to the work of art and the YouTube or audio file. Part B: Classical Music Research Paper Here is the music topic chosen to address: Music Research Paper Topic Folk, Blue grass and Reggae music I am looking to discuss the history, similarities and differences between Folk music and Reggae music. It seems that music may be categorized based on its originality. Folk music refers to the type of music that originates from traditional popular culture. Most of the music is of unknown authorship and is transmitted from one generation to another orally. Blue grass music is a form of American root music. This type of music has mixed genre in Irish, Scottish and English. Reggae is a type of folk music that traces its origin to Jamaica. However, it is important to note that the word reggae denotes a type of music with genres such as ska and rock. I will use the Brandman library and other online resources to describe each type of music in the past and present, including answers to many of the questions included in the “questions to consider” portion of our assignment.
