1 Explain what the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is. Include in the description the name of the winds converging at this zone.
2 Explain why the ITCZ generally shifts north of the equator during the Northern Hemisphere summer and south of the equator during the Northern Hemisphere winter.
3 Does this have any influence on the weather in South Asia (countries such as India and Bangladesh) in the summer– what is the relationship (hint: monsoon)?
