Essay that is 3-5 pages in length (NOT including your reference list) in Times New Roman, 12 point font, double-spaced, 1″ margins, title at the top of the first page, page numbers at the bottom, and citations and references in APA format.
Essay should not just be a description of your chosen medical condition or disability; you must also include information about the implications this disability has on the patient’s oral health, ability to receive dental care and other barriers to care, tools a dentist might need in order to safely treat the patient, and may include specific scenarios (if this, then that) descriptions of what you would say or do to help the patient if they presented in your office. Be creative!
