Each Session Long Project (SLP) asked you to examine a current issue related to finance and strategic planning in the field of education. The goal was to critically analyze the issue, determine your position on the issue, and discuss how you would manage communicating your position to relevant personnel, community members, students, or other stakeholders.
The final SLP will give you the opportunity to reflect on these assignments.
Compose a 2- to 3-page paper with the following components:
Introduction
What issue was most related to your current professional position? Why?
Why is communication important to educational leaders?
How does consideration of other points of view inform your ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders?
How does your knowledge on an issue impact your ability to communicate your position to stakeholders?
Conclusion
If you could give one piece of advice to an upcoming educational leader about communication, what would it be and why?
