As a part of the grading scheme this semester, you are required to submit a technical report
reflect what you have learned the course of Surveying and Spatial measurements
regarding the topic of Surveying activities in Construction projects.
General guidelines:
➢ You can get information from a real project and/or from library/internet sources.
➢ It is important for your paper to be well structured. Although each paper will be different, most papers
should be organized as follow:
1- Cover page (University name & logo – Department – Course title – semester – prepared by –
presented to – submission date)
2- Table of contents, list of figures, list of tables.
3- The body of the report (the different main ideas in a logical order, e.g.. Introduction – Problem
statement – Proposed solutions – Results and comments)
4- Conclusion.
5- Referecnes.
✓ The report should be 5 to 10 pages typed (including figures and tables). Try to be succinct and
to the point but be careful not to leave out important information.
✓ Use a standard, 12pt, font, such as Times New Roman, for the main text. Use different font
sizes, bold, italic and underline where appropriate but not to excess.
