You are in a management position and there have been barriers of communication at your place of business that have affected the quality of the work environment you have strived for. It is your responsibility to send a memo to all employees reminding them of the company policy and the non-tolerance of inappropriate communication. Usually, memos are limited to one page. The point of the assignment is for you to relay an effective message, so please do not limit yourself.

It is imperative that you deliver an effective memo so that your team is clear on what kind of behavior is expected of them. Make sure the language you include reiterates your authority as management, as well as leave an open line of communication between you and your team.
Your memo should be composed as the following in Block Style Format: Paragraph 1: Introduce the matter of concern in at least two sentences.
Paragraph 2: Reiterate the company’s policy on the subject matter in at least four sentences.

Paragraph 4: Give your closing remarks. Always close on a positive note and thank your employees for their time and effort in at least two sentences.
