The idea is for you to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement in regards to the organizational model and culture. I´m interested in you going deep into both. You´ll also have to include observations on human dynamics: what works, what doesn’t, what people feel and think, what their experience is, how they´re organized, the best thing the organization has, the worst, etc.
In class I will show you some diagnosis I´ve done in real life so you can take it as a reference.
It’s very important you refer back to frameworks we see in class. This doesn’t mean that you have to explain back to me a theory. Use it to compare and contrast.
Imagine that I´m an external consultant firm that has hired you to tell me what’s going on in that organization. I need to have a realistic picture that could allow me to create an action plan to improve the organization based on your observations.
Please include a brief introduction as to why you picked this organization, its name, what you did there and for how long.
If you have diagrams to support your arguments these can be additional, as long as the main information should be on the 5 pages.
